Vintage Design
Mario Bellini for Cassina CAB 413 chair in black Italian leather, made in Italy, circa 1990. High-quality chair consisting of handstitched natural leather upholstery wrapped over internal steel frame. The only additional reinforcement is provided by a rubber membrane plate that supports the seat. The design of the CAB chair is inspired by how our skin fits over our skeleton. Bellini’s innovative design is using zips to fasten the leather cover to its frame, a zip runs up the inside of each leg, sealing the cover firmly in place. The black leather has a wonderful patina and is in excellent condition. Marked Cassina at the bottom.
